We also HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking out the Farmers Market at the Base of Wintergreen Mountain on the weekends for the crafts and food! Kids and I last time took advantage of the Blue Ridge Park way being close by and went on 2 different hikes including Humpback Rock. I have gone there with the kids and groups of friends on separate occasions plus a combined trip for my birthday last year. This is both a family and “adult” campground. We always make a reservation at the main eatery at the Brewery every time we go as it is outstanding! If you are there during the main season usually live music & events going on over at the brewery. Jen & Blake are our chef-owners and operate the restaurant following Buddhist principles, with a commitment to sustainability, environmental ethics. I actually didn’t even have to use my Anderson levelers last time I went. It is by far a PERSONAL FAVORITE of mine!! The RV Sites are all huge and level.
